Fact Sheets and Position Papers

Sometimes you need a thorough but concise summary of the information on a topic. For that we've compiled these fact sheets on a variety of topics. We also have written several position papers which give our official position on various topics.

The Arc of PA produces several regular publications, including our quarterly PA Message Newsletter, which is available in print as well as in digital form. Regular advocacy updates are available to members through the In Touch e-newsletter.

Legislation and Advocacy

One of the central roles of The Arc of Pennsylvania is to inform people with disabilities and lead them in action on legislation which effects them.

Learn to be an advocate with these advocacy training materials, which we call Advocacy 101.

We follow the PA state budget process closely - check here for those documents.

Include Me and Discovery

Our Include Me program, which helps pre-school and school age kids with disabilities be included in classrooms, has its own website which you should check out for resources on that program. Discovery is an exciting program which helps youth and young adults with disabilities find meaningful and fulfilling jobs.
